RXtra320 Pro uses the TenTec™ RX320 receiver to create a versatile low-cost HF monitoring tool for spectrum managers.
RXtra320 Pro was developed in collaboration with an international HF broadcaster to provide a full range of tools for HF spectrum monitoring including support for operation at remote measuring sites.
With RXtra320 Pro you can programme a schedule of automatic signal measurement, sample-recording, band-scanning, channel-scanning and automatic FTP of the measurements and recordings via the Internet. All operations are carried out fully automatically at scheduled times. Signal measurements are saved in a text file using a format that facilitates importing into MicroSoft Excell, for example. Sample recordings and measurement files can be scheduled for fully automatic download to a remote FTP server, via the Internet, at specified intervals. The pre-programmed schedule can itself be uploaded automatically to enable dynamic control of the monitoring system over the Internet.
With RXtra320 Pro you can create your own frequency files of significant channels and modes and then scan them automatically. You can scan the channels sequentially or skip to the next channel pertaining to a specified user.
With RXtra320 Pro you can automatically search over a selected frequency range in steps that you define. Signal measurements of each frequency are stored in a text file which can be transferred over the Internet automatically to a designated FTP server.
RXtra320 Pro supports the full range of adjustments of receiver bandwidth, IF offset, tuning offset and AGC rate to suit any requirement.
With RXtra320 Pro you can make digital recordings of live audio either on-demand, or at a pre-programmed date/time and duration. Programmed recordings can be automatically delivered by FTP transfer to a remote server.
System Requirements
RXtra320 Pro runs on a PC under Windows 95/98 in conjunction with the Ten Tec™ RX320 HF receiver. To record the audio signal from the receiver, you must also have a SoundBlaster-compatible soundcard. The audio signal is recorded as a wave file (.wav). To compress the audio signal into MP3 format there is an additional licencing requirement. To use the automatic FTP facility you must have a dial-up or permanent connection to the Internet.
Downloading and installation
You can download RXtra320 Pro for free! When you have downloaded the file and run the self-extractor, run the SETUP.EXE program which will guide you through the installation of the software. RXtra320 Pro has an on-line help file of helpful hints and tips that will explain all of the features of this important tool for spectrum management.

You can evaluate RXtra320 Pro free for 30 days. Once you have established that it meets your requirements you can continue to use it only if you register the program.
