AprsPlotter decodes and plots position reports found in APRS messages

AprsPlotter - Features

AprsPlotter works in conjunction with AGWPE giving you the ability to process and display APRS traffic which is decoded by your TNC or by the internal modem in AGWPE.

Raw message display
AprsPlotter displays the raw message data received from AGWPE.

Position display
AprsPlotter displays the position reports found in the message stream. For each callsign, the latest reported position is displayed.

Chart display
AprsPlotter displays the location data on a suitable chart.

OLE/COM output
AprsPlotter provides an OLE/COM (Automation) output that gives the current position of each station whose data has been received. CombiPlotter from COAA uses the OLE/COM output and allows you to display the APRS data together with aircraft decoded by PlanePlotter, ships decoded by ShipPlotter as well as satellites and radio sondes, all on the same chart.

OpenStreetMap
AprsPlotter gives you one-click access to the OpenStreetMap for the area currently displayed. You can track mobiles down to street level with this function.

Log files
AprsPlotter can save all the traffic that it has processed, to a daily log file.

Requirements to run AprsPlotter

• Pentium level PC running Win95/98/Me/2k/XP/Vista with compatible sound card.
• VHF receiver and antenna capable of receiving APRS traffic (eg 144.8 MHz FM in Europe).
• AGWPE software installed and configured.

AprsPlotter can be downloaded freely and comes in a self-extracting EXE file which automatically installs itself. The file size is a modest 0.6Mb.

Registration of AprsPlotter

AprsPlotter can be freely downloaded and used for 21 days. After that time it must be registered. Registration can be done swiftly and securely on-line and costs only Euro €25 (plus VAT for EU residents) for personal use. A higher fee applies to professional or commercial use of AprsPlotter.
